| 25th of April, Chaos. Watercolour and aquarelle crayons. Almost the energy and chaos of the week. |

| 22nd of April, Metaphor. Watercolour and collage. My nanna said this when I put too much food on my plate, thinking that I might eat all of it, "Your eyes are too big for your belly". But of course I couldn't eat it all. On the weekend I visited Paris, at the Musée d'art moderne and saw the Linder exhibition. | 23rd of April, Dream. Watercolour and Pitt artist pen. I dreamt that I was in Australia visiting my parents, when there were snakes and scorpions everywhere. One bit my son Max, and he died, of course I woke up just at that point. I also had been reading a book with my other son Alex, called "Zékéyé et le Serpent Python", by Nathalie Dieterlé. So here is the illustration from the book. (let me tell you, the snake doesn't make it!) |

| 21st of April, Symbol. Watercolour and aquarelle crayons. Apples, symbolizes love, fertility and is an emblem of Venus. Its round shape indicates eternity and also the earth. In the Old Testament the apple represents temptation, although as an attribute of the Virgin Mary, it means redemption. |

| 18th of April, animal. Aquarelle graphite. Peacock, from the book "Zoo", by Gary Heery. One of my favorite animal books. |

| 19th of April, Food. Aquarelle crayons and watercolour. Pistachio nougat, mmm too yummy. |

| 16th of April, Lace. Aquarelle crayons and "uni-ball" pen. |

| 17th of April, Luminosity. Watercolour... luminosity also means inspiration. |

| 14th of April, Simplicity. Black ink and gesso. I tried to do this fast, but Cleo was moving her head all about, that's why she looks a bit funny. I'll try and draw her sleeping next time. |

| 15th of April, Teapot. Black ink, gesso, collage and watercolour. One of my favorite subjects and I could use some of my collected tea papers. |
